Diva called me this afternoon to tell me she thinks she has the job at the nursing home. I guess she just wants to be friends. Scared me half to death when I saw who was calling. Thought something was wrong!

Mom starts Taxol tomorrow. I talked to her tonight. I think she is a little worried about the possibility of an allergic reaction. I hope it goes OK.

Fingers crossed for your mom and for Diva' getthing the job. that your relationship with her turns around.

Jim didn't get to second round of interviews for the supervisor position, which I kind of knew would happen.

I pulled the names tonight and if there were no omissions I will send out names tomorrow.

Tammi - so how was the Steelers game (aside from the weird weather)? I haven't even looked at scores or anything from the weekend. {ETA: I see the Steelers won! } We'll catch up with episodes of PTI from this week, eventually! (At least the last couple of days). When are your travel dates? December, right? I got an email from Airtran about $20 off but only through November. Congrats on booking airfare! The birthday details of your trip sound fabulous! Nicholas is one lucky boy! I loved your solution to Eric's mashed potato/butter issue! Salad without dressing... brilliant! I'm sorry to hear things are rough, with all of your scheduling. Hang in there... just through October right, then you get a bit of respite?

Elin - hooray for finding a Disney gift card! That's even better than finding cash, because you can't justify not spending it on your trip! What did you end up doing for luggage? Did your friends check in with you ever? Great price on the car rental.... things are shaping up so nicely! Can I come with you?!

Kristine - What a mess! I'm glad your home ended up coming out pretty well. Now that the tests are out of the way (for now), are you ready for Disney?! How many BLT points do you plan on buying? I remember before you bought DVC you said you'd buy there if they ever built.......

Theresa - did you find your ID? Your trip is so close! I hope it is every bit as refreshing as you need it to be! I'm sorry to hear about Jim's interview. I hope your foot is feeling better... ouch! Should I have gotten a PM or something about the ornament exchange name assignment?

Jen - I hope Virginia is better, and that nobody else in your household is sick!

Amy - how weird that a storm NEVER arrived! I'm sorry we got cut off the other day. I obviously didn't attempt to call back, because the 'network busy' stuff was totally annoying me! I, too, laughed when I saw the happy little snow graphics all over the news!

Glynis - did you hear from your family members in Houston yet?! And please tell me how you have 6 seasons?! I hope you're more well-rested now! Hang in there.... but you DON'T want bedrest! You might not remember it well right now, but I know you know it's not all it's cracked up to be! Hooray for $0.75 lunches! Congrats on your new nephew... And tell Leslie that I can't imagine she'll lose her record! And I must say I am SO impressed on your "disaster preparedness". I helped run a community course on it, and still had nothing we needed except some water And I totally didn't know Tim Burton was with Helena Bonham Carter! I knew she was in all his movies, but so is JD... they are fabulous together!

Robyn - the picture you posted makes me hungry! It sounds like things are shaping up wonderfully for your Texas trip!

Elin & Tammi - I'm glad to hear your humidity left as well. We're thrilled with our newly dry weather!

Vicki - how wonderful that you can work out Disney 4 times next year! I'm hoping we'll do 3, but even just 2 will be wonderful after such a 'drought'!

Elizabeth - I hope princess is well, and am glad you didn't have to take her to the doctor! Your concierge reasoning cracked me up, as did your "I don't run unless someone or something dangerous is chasing me"! I'm happy for you that your late nights have been cut the last while! I'm sorry to hear Arabella ate your crocs again! Any resolution to the DVC/Chase issue? How frustrating! And ok, in general, you just crack me up! I can't keep commenting or this will be a jumbled mess.... I should have multi-quoted! I'm glad you got the check (finally)! As for Alice.... I hate that movie, and I'm not a huge Tim Burton fan (the only movie of his I ever liked was Corpse Bride, although after liking that I told Kyle I need to give Nightmare another try! ). I do love Johnny though (and wholeheartedly agree with Glynis)... There is nobody I can imagine better suited to play the Mad Hatter! I think I will see it just for that performance! I hope your mom's treatment goes well!
