Glynis - I would love to live in Utah! My best friend is already lobbying to get us to move to Montana when they finally get to, but Utah would be great too.

That would be awesome! At least come for a visit!

Welcome! We love new people! I am Elin, a 57 year young piano/composition teacher. Wife to Bob, age 58, who is not in love with Disney as much as I am. He tolerates my fanaticism! We have 2 DDs. Kristin is 22 and recently graduated from college. Kathrin (soon to be 30) lives and works in Boston.

Bob and I are headed to WDW to celebrate our 35th anniversary later this month and then the four of us will meet at AKL for Christmas.

Someday we will take you up on that offer. I really do plan to check out the other side of our country some day.

I love all that stuff!!! Snowmen is my theme for my Christmas kitchen. Unfortunately, I have to pick up stuff a little bit here and there, so it doesn't all match. But, I'm getting my snowmen!!!

My bathroom is done in snowmen, but I could be swayed to do my kitchen if I had pretty things like that

And now that I finally got to post something I guess i'm off. Gotta make a list of things left to do before Friday. Terra and I both have dr appts on Wed and I promised to take her to a Talk Like a Pirate thing at the park if we're ready in time on Friday. Also gotta have the downstairs company ready before we leave as Mom's having a MOPS dinner with her table groups here on Tues and she'll be out of town Thurs-Sun. And the sewing, and the autograph cards, and the packing, and the laundy, and the.... Actually, there's not too much of anything left to do, I just need to get it all down on paper so that I can manage my time better the rest of the week.

Oh yeah, and Kristi's power came back on this morning so we're all up and running again from Ike.

Good luck getting it all done. Do you and Jennifer both leave on Saturday?

I'm relieved that they are okay. It seems the DDA pixie dust worked again

I took it easy tonight. I tried to take a nap, but really couldn't sleep. Chris thinks I'm running a fever I ended up hanging out on the couch though I did manage to do the budget and pay the bills. I am not good at doing nothing. I really hope that I can sleep tonight and wake up feeling at least 70%. 100% is way too much to hope for.

Chanon- Love the box and the stuff inside. The cat is adorable. That box still hasn't made it out of MD yet.

Elizabeth- I am glad you avoided the doctor's today. I think we have scratched the play for Friday night as we are now planning on hitting the state fair Friday after Tut. No rides though. Emma was excited when she heard about it this weekend so I think that is what the plan it. Keep me posted about Saturday.

Vicki- for 4 trips next year! (I am not a bit jealous, nope not at all)

Robyn - Dallas schools have early release on 10/17, and since it is Friday night the fair might be rather lively. They usually have pretty tight security, just be very careful in the parking lots and driving in the neighborhood around the fairgrounds because it is very scary.
DS wants to do Race for the Cure so that's where we will be Sat AM. You are more than welcome to join us, or we can catch up with you later in the day on Saturday.

Welcome to our little family! I'm Glynis, SAHM to 4 kids (Katie, 11, Jacob, almost 9, and twin girls Leslie and Mary, 6) and one one the way (Peanut, for now). Only about 12 weeks left!!!!! Have been to WDW once, but Disneyland countless times! I love this group, they are the best in the whole world! Hopefully, you'll tell us about yourself, and we can get to know you!

Thanks for welcoming my friend, Dana!! Her oldest DD is Mo's bestest friend in the whole wide world. She is super excited about their upcoming trip as they'll be there for her birthday (and Emma's too, she doesn't know but we're stowing away in their luggage ) Her girls don't know about the trip just yet.


Dana, just jump right in! Everyone, and there are a lot of us, is great. It's overwhelming but a ton of fun.

Well, I'm feeling a bit under the weather. Nothing serious, just exhausted and back achy, general ickiness. So, Alan gets to put the kids to bed, and I'm heading off. I can't believe it! It's only 8:15 here, and I'm heading to bed. Apparently, being pregnant and 41 is very tiring....or so my body tells me.
