So im not sure if i told you guys yet, and nothing is definite, but its fun to think about..

You all know hwo I had that cruise booked with the family in january and have now canceled due to my new job? Well there is a chance that I can be going to Australia for christmas! It wouldnt be with my family, so it would be hard to be away for christmas, but i think this may be a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Just got a cal my godfather is okay--he has some stitches and they had to take his nail off, but hes doing good!

Any of the DVC members do the Welcome Home Wednesday at the Atlantic Dance Hall? Chuck and I talked about it the last couple of trips and we didn't make it. I'm adding it to the agenda for March just to see what it's all about. I always like freebies as well.

If we go for 2 weeks in 2010 the dates are July 23 to August 8. If we just do one week the dates will be July 30 - August 8.
I would be happy to be in charge of ADRs for DDA group meals and grand gathering events!

We will definitely be there at the same time I haven't looked at dates yet, but it has to be end of july and beginning of August.

This tornado yesterday, was only a few miles from my office.

Elin- That is a Jim Shore pumpkin mickey, but I unfortunately do not own it. I saw it in the Christmas store as I was leaving Downtown Disney, but did not purchase it because I did not have the time.

Yes mam! I have a few things to check on with my grade partner tomorrow but i have it done! i figured it may not be perfect since its the first time, but ill learn from it and improve for next week!

Im so glad its done..i feel much better that it is done! Typically, I am going to try to getm y plans done during the kids naptime/planning periods during the week so we will see what happens.. Tomorrow is the first full day of school!

Is it full day kindergarten? I'm surprised they have naps. That does not happen here even when they start full days

I have always wanted to go to Australia. I really can't think of another place outside of the US that I really want to travel too. I say go for it

I'm working on putting together some kind of Princess costume for the Princess 1/2 in March. I want to havce it so that I can run in it a few times between now and then to make sure it is comfortable. I think I want to go as Belle because of the traditional Princess' she is my favorite.

I'll be interested to see what you come up with. Creating Belle in a form that you can run in and be cool and comfortable should be a challenge

He got out of it with minor injuries compared to what it could have been. Maybe that DDA pixie dust worked again.

How does this not surprise me? The other countries I want to visit are Denmark and Germany. However, the only reason for those is because we have exchange students that are like brothers to me from those two.

I'm looking at a dressy yellow tank top. I'm thinking of buying a second somehow to make the straps that hang off the shoulder. Then is is just a yellow skirt gathered to just cover my running shorts.

DH won the certificate for a free resort photo shoot and PhotoPass CD, and we got those drawstring nylon bags after the presentation. They play a little game show type thing, but only 4 audience members get to play. They do a few prize drawings, then they give away a little DVC thing as you leave. I was hoping for a baseball cap, but all they had were the bags. They had Cracker Jacks and lemonade but it was PACKED so we didn't attempt the snack lines. There was a woman (a DVC owner - not a cast member) who was REALLY rude to us as we were looking for seats and another one who snatched the pen away from me as I was reaching for it (The PhotoPass guy saw it happen and his mouth dropped open. He was kind enough to let me borrow his pen.) so that kind of got us off on the wrong foot, but it was OK overall.

I wasnt expecting naps but ill take it! It is full day. Last week with the half days, the kids were dragging by 1230 or so

That is on my list of top places to visit, one of these days. But I have a feeling it will not be for awhile. Next year I want to go out west. Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada. Maybe not sure exactly where. Maybe a road trip to Canada as well. Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa. But then again my empty passport is calling my name.

I am getting real antsy to go somewhere else already. I have not been home a week.

So who knows.

Wow. What will they do since the school has significant damage

They currently only have it closed for two days. So they can try and make repairs and to dry things out. They only restored electricity today around 1pm. I have a feeling it will be closed longer.

One of the elementary schools was shut down last year due to black mold. The kids had classes in churches, nursing homes, businesses, till the end of the year. The school is remaining closed for all of this year. Those kids are attending school at an old school from another district that was no longer being used.

So who knows where those kids will end up if their is extensive damage.

Instead of a tank top. You could use a tee shirt and then cut it to the desired shape, with it hanging off the shoulders.
