Elizabeth welcome back!

Tammi sorry you have to work out of town again, hope the week goes quickly for you :wizard:

Vicki it would be nice to see you & Chuck again :teeth:

I did not make it to the store today so I ordered pizza. Tomorrow I will have no choice & I have to enroll the boys in school. I did get unpacked & have laundry going. The bathroom, living room are cleaned & the dining room is as clean as I can get it. It is the catch all room right now  I go back to work Tuesday, so at least I was able to relax a little. I slept most of today away.

We are already discussing next years trip & I told the boys they could both take a friend this time(I know call me crazy lol). I did see that value season starts a week later than it did this year, that gives me even less time to get home & enroll the boys for school :sad2: Let the planning begin :rotfl:

I am getting off here early tonight. I need sleep! Too much Olympics over the past week. Good night, everyone!

Kristine--i hope everythin is okay with Bill.

YEAH!! Jen for 1st grade:cool1:

Welcome "home" Vicki...we have missed you.

Theresa, :wizard: for Julie.

Congrats, Nick and Hunter. :cheer2:

So i have more good news to share--its early, but I have to tell someone!
I just got a phone call from the head of the elementary department of the district that offered me the long term sub position.
She wants me to come in on Wednesday morning to meet with her and 2 principals. They are waiting on approval for a grant and if it gets approved (which they think it will) there will be an open kindergarten position and she wants me to have it!
That is even better news

We're baaaack!!!!
Welcome home!
Great news Becky!!!:woohoo:

tammi-great pictures!

Jennifer I hope you are feeling better & Virginia has grown so much(Olivia too!)!
Thanks yes we are feeling better. Welcome home.
My house is a mess & of course have I plenty of laundry to do. The kitchen is tore up & my fridge & stove are in the dining room. Meals will be cooked on the grill, in the crock pot, or in the microwave.

I have lot's I should be doing, but I am laying in bed & getting ready to nap. Everything will wait till later. Gary is knocking down walls in the kitchen, so I think I will stay upstairs for a while :thumbsup2

Just wanted to pop in & say hello  I will be back later!
How long will your house be like this?
Hello, All! We are home! Trying to get sorted out right now, I'll be back later!
Welcome home Elizabeth

We had a wonderful trip, but I am exhausted! Next year I am planning a couple of days for down time ::yes::

The weather was much better than I thought it would be, no heat stroke for me lol Riley talked me into riding a surrey bike as well, it was fun but a little scary with an 11 year old wanting to pedal as fast as possible  I also rented a sea racer for Garrett & Riley, they really enjoyed this & look forward to doing it again.

Loved our stay at POR, our plan is to stay there again next year. We were in Oak Manor which was very close to 2 bus stops & the food court. We also had a quiet pool within steps from our door. The grounds are beautiful & I have no complaints other than the fridge not having the control knob :headache: I will be better prepared next year!

I so enjoyed meeting up with everyone for dinner :goodvibes Spent quite a bit of time with Elizabeth & her family. Riley & Elizabeth's ds got along like they had know each other for years! The necklaces that all the kids are wearing in the picture posted were from Debbie. Thank you again, the boys think they are so cool :thumbsup2

Welcome back. I can't wait to hear about your trip

Elizabeth welcome back to you too. I've read your trip report and it sounds like you had a wonderful time with extra pixie dust.

Vicki You can do it. We are all behind you. I need to get back on my diet, and will just as soon as the boys go back to school. Hopefully September will we a great month for the DDA to begin an exercise routine :thumbsup2

Tammi I'm so sorry you have to go out of town again. I can imagine that you are ready to stay put for a while.

The weatherman was actually right :cool1: It didn't rain today.

We ended up cleaning the house and working on laundry from 8 - 10 this morning while we waited for the sun to hit the deck and dry it. At 10 we started staining it. The rails and spindles took FOREVER to do. My Dad and Brother were working on wood again even though they knew we needed to get the deck done. Eventually my Mother came down and she ended up helping with the deck and Chris went to help with wood as it was heavy stuff. At 2:45 I ran out of stain, but the deck floor still had another 1/3 to cover. After a quick shower I headed to Home Depot to get more stain. Chris ended up meeting me at AJs after 4 PM to get the stain. I worked until 9 PM. Chris did finish the deck though a second coat on the floor wouldn't hurt. That might happen "if" I can ever carve out more time. Colby needed me to give him a bath and read him a story when I got home. Another busy day, but at least we got a ton done this weekend.

Tomorrow I need to help the boys try on all their pants as we approach the first day of school. My cousin is coming at noon to cut our hair. Her little boy (he is actually a year older than Colby) will be able to use any of Colby's hand me downs so we need to get the closet done early. Tomorrow is my only night off until we go camping this weekend. I better make the most of it.

I guess I'll watch some gymnastics then head to bed. Good night all.

I did not take many pictures this trip, here are some I down loaded to photobucket. Excuse Riley's smile in some, he was being a little goofy

Not sure if you need a password or not, I think it is Disney :confused3 I will change it if that does not work. As soon as I get our photo pass pictures done, I will share those. I did not get as many taken as I had hoped, the boys just weren't into it & we only had one taken at MK :guilty:

Thanks yes we are feeling better. Welcome home.

How long will your house be like this?

Glad to hear you are feeling better! Our home will be a mess for a while, I will post pictures tomorrow.

:welcome: home Janet!

:welcome: home Elizabeth!

:welcome: back Vicki... I will be in the world from October 5-October 10. I have some really wonderful meals plannned. Plus a very slow (really, really, slow) walk around World Showcase for the Food and Wine. We will have 30 snack credits for the 5 days.

Lots of fine dining planned. We're doing the DXDDp. Staying at OKW in a studio. Going to have to roll us out of the parks...;) ;)

Then Terry and I will be there from December 5th -December 7th and again from December 11-16th. Come on down!!!!

DDA.....I need help again......:worship: :worship: :worship:

I just made ressies to stay at HH from March 15-20th. However, there seems to be nothing to do. We are not lay around the beach people. My family is not into water skiing, kayaking or marshmallow roasting. My DGD has already declared she is going to be bored. The more I show them pictures of HH, the more they roll their eyes and say they want to go to Disney. Typhoon Lagoon. RnRc. TOT. They want to go to the "beach" at OKW. My DGD wants to see La Nuoba. She wants to eat at Wolfgang Pucks again. My DGS wants to go do Soarn'. He wants TT. He has a need for speed. My DD hates sand.

My DDil wants a relaxing vacation. She doesn't want to do Disney again with two toddlers. Especially another infant.

Needless to say, I would rather go to Disney. My family has park and more tickets, so they won't have that expense. We'll have a kitchen, so we can do breakfast at the villa. Plus I want my dinner at the CG and I want one of my kids to take me to the Princess and Pirate Party and wear the lighted Mickey hat!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Oh, what to do. What to do.... I do like to keep my DDIl happy. She is perfect in everyway. I couldn't have ordered a more perfect mate for my son if I had asked central casting. What I need to do is convince her she will be able to relax at Disney...

This is what I was thinking as I read your post. Disney is the perfect place, because there is something for everyone. She doesn't have to go to the parks if she doesn't want to. However, wherever she goes with 2 toddlers, I don't think it will be 'relaxing'. ;) :)

Janet - great pictures. Riverside looks lovely, and I'm glad to see that older boys aren't too 'cool' for characters. :goodvibes:

Good Morning DDA,

I now know why I always leave a day for rest after our trips, today is going to be a rough one. We had company all afternoon yesterday when we got home so no naps here, I don't think I'll be stopping at the gym on the way home today.

Tammi said almost exactly what I was going to say, Stephanie. WDW can be a very relaxing vacation. myBob doesn't go into the parks very often and loves spending time at the resort. Sounds like your DIL could do a lot of downtime at OKW. As you know, the villas are HUGE with lots of peace and quiet. Maybe if some of that downtime includes the little ones being taken by a loving grandma and their aunts and uncles and cousins for a couple of hours... That would be a big selling point to me!

I hope your day didn't turn out to be as tough as you thought it would be, Debbie.

Agree.

You know what? I never even considered a capital D, and that is strange because I always try to remember to capital all beginning letters.
