DDA Chapter 10

If our trip was shorter we would have just stuck to the DDE card. I am not ordering groceries because we are moving so flipping many times! But between having the concierge snacks the first 3 days, the DxDDP the next 7 days, and DDE for the last 6 days I am sure we'll be more than covered. Besides, we'll have CAKE to snack on! Hopefully. If AKL IPO manages to appropriately convey my cake request to Boardwalk Bakery, and the bakery gets my cake to Flying Fish. If not, I guess we'll have to take a stab at getting a cake another night! Good thing the cake is early in the trip!

Well I do hope you get your Birthday Cake!

I had some cake today at work We bought a cake for the employee that is retiring, her last day is Sunday.

I am sure I ordered more food/snacks than I needed to, but it is so hard to figure what I will need with the boys. I did order 3 cases of water, which I hope is enough!

It should be enough water.
At home I drink 4 bottles a day. At WDW I don't think I drink quite that much, unless I get a giant bottle of Evian at dinner. DS doesn't like water, and DH prefers soda. With 2 snack credits per person, per day I guess if there are credits left at the end we could buy water to drink during the last part of the trip. My goal is to spend them on things like Dole Whips, ice cream on Main Street, rice cream in Norway, etc. but if there are any left we can always get water.

Not pink. I would probably go for black since it won't show dirt as easily.

...I'm just trying to get away from a bag that looks like a backpack. Or a heavy type bag that's not feminine. (Bob can suffer if he wants to carry it.) The first one looks like a nice tote - the second reminds me of a purse, but that water bottle looks so out of place...

I didn't say that I made them correctly I use the recipe for dessert crepes.

1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup flour
2 eggs
1 tablespoon cooking oil
2 tablespoons sugar

Mix it well until all the lumps are gone

I use a large electric griddle and use a measuring cup or ice cream scoop to place the batter onto a hot buttered griddle. I set my griddle to 300 degrees. Once the batter sets up and bubbles in the middle it's time to flip them. Brown to your liking and enjoy with fresh berries, powdered sugar or maple syrup.

We put raspberry or strawberry jam on ours. My recipe is very close to yours.

I sing that ALL the time. It drives DS (and even Princess) nuts!
"We're goin' on a trip, we're goin' on a trip, it's thrilling to be filling with such wild anticipation! Packing the suitcases, and counting off the days-es, almost as exciting as the actual vacation!" It's a fabulous song!

I could see myself getting hooked on that song as well!! It sounds like a perfect travelling song. We sing all the time on trips.

I talked to my mom for a bit. She sounds really good. She went and looked at wigs today but she didn't like any of them. She got a pattern to make herself a turban, so she is experimenting with that. She and Diva may go to Nebraska tomorrow to visit some relatives and do some school shopping. Diva completed the road portion of her driver's ed and is now a fully licensed driver. Apparently they are burning through tank after tank of gas to get plenty of "practice" in for Diva. Mom can justify anything if she thinks on it long enough.
Mom's blood counts were low so they started her on antibiotics. She said she has had some stomach weirdness but other than that she feels good. She doesn't have any other appointments until her chemo infusion next week.

Oh, I don't know. The last time I bought alcohol I asked the guy if he wanted to see my ID and he LAUGHED!

You can't always tell by looks. I've known 16 year olds that looked 30. One of my staff is 28 and looks 16. When I was a kid, the guy I worked with carded a woman. We thought she was 19 or 20. Turns out she was 36 or 37. I felt bad asking 20 years ago, but since every sign you see says EVERYONE will be carded, it wouldn't bother me now.
