DDA Chapter 10

I got a Wii! But what an ordeal it was. I called our local Costco to see if they had any in stock. I really wanted to get it here since I have a $20 gift card for the place. The girl says "yes we have about half a palette left. So I leave work and drive an hour to Costco, racing against time. I get there and come to find out they have the Wii's but no Fits. I hate stupid people. I specifically asked if they had any Wii FITS, not Wii's, but I digress. So I leave and as I get in my car I decide to call the Gamestop that is in the same mall as Costco. They have one left. I asked if he will hold it for me, as I am in the mall and will be there in a few minutes. He did, and I got it. $50 more than I wanted to spend, but nonetheless, I'm done searching for it. I also pre-ordered 2 new games that were coming out that you can play on the Fit. A skateboarding and a cheerleading. I figure they will be good Christmas presents for the kids. He said once they come out they will be as hard to get as the Fits. So I came home and got my Mii all set up. According to her, I'm 3 years younger!

.... I thought you already had a Wii?

I'm glad you got the Wii Fit, and are enjoying it!

Jennifer- How is Virginia today? I haven't yet looked over your email, I'll try to get to it tonight.

Well after a few episodes of Diarrhea and vomiting about an hour after getting the meds in to Virginia we ended up back at the Dr today. She is nursing okay but is not eating much of her solids the past few days. She got a shot of Rocephin today and since it takes about 2 minutes to get 5mls in her he switched her Meds to once a day and he says it has a different taste and it does not need to be cold.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: scared you, didn't I? Bob got bitten by the "new car" bug. Luckily he was willing to look at a used 2007 Nissan Versa that a friend at work was selling. It is in terrific shape with only 27,000 miles on it and the asking price was really great. We will get it on Friday.

Congratulations! :)

And Alyssa is 20! I didn't realize that it measured personality too! :rotfl2:

So the 3 of us have been exercising all night! Now it's time for Greatest American Dog.

:rotfl:

As Elin mentioned, 20 is the youngest. A lot of other games that work the same way (as far as daily 'age' tests, etc) such as Flash Focus and Brain Age are the same ... 20 is the youngest, but we aren't sure what the oldest might be! :)

Theresa

 Hi, Karen!

I'm on and off tonight. We were out for about 10 hours today, and are all tired. It's so freaking humid! :headache: (And, well, we just don't sleep anymore. :sad2: )

Have a good evening, DDA!

You are a saint! :worship: There is no way I would dress as Minnie. Not for DS, not for Princess, not even for money.

What can I say, I'm a pushover. Of course, I may be pushing for a change in themes, say Woody/Jessie, Woody/Buzz, a switch in the Mice portrayals, something.

I finally heard from my girlfriend, the one who left her DD's party early. Come to find out Dana was having chest pains and went to the hospital where they admitted her for the night. They ruled out a heart attack, which I am very thankful for as I've already had one friend in her 30's who had one. Apparently her heart is racing uncontrollably and they can't determine the cause. She is on blood pressure medicine and they have switched that so hopefully that will do the trick.

Would you mind sending her some pixie dust her way?

Definitely! I hope that the change in meds does the trick or they find the reason ASAP. :wizard:

SO....today is ridiculous...it started this morning. Cassidy woke up yelling at me because I was getting her up on time!!:scared1: Then on the way to work I realized I haven't seen the mail in registration papers for Cassidy that are more than likely overdue!!

then it hit me that as food mom there are 2 meals that I have to feed the kids....next week!!

and I get to go get my teeth pulled tonight on top of that:eek:  :headache: :headache:

add to that some fun work stuff :headache: :headache: :headache: :headache: :headache: :headache:

and I am so surprised I am not wrapped up in the fetal position.

Ack! I hope you aren't in too much pain tonight and that the rest of your week looks better.

So I survived today for our training. Tomorrow is probably just about as long a day. I better get to bed as I have to meet a co-worker at 6:45am to go to more training. Far to early for my liking.

My whole body hurts not sure if it from the crutches or sitting on my butt most of the time. My hurt ankle/foot really does not hurt much.

I hope you all had great days.

The youngest you can be is 20, we think. But I like the fact that it knows Alyssa so well!

Is there person from Stafford still on the show? We have never watched it.
Well it pegged Nicholas' age as 8, so it does go lower than 20.

Yes, she is still on there, as is a girl from Fairfax. It's cute, and one of the pairs that I really like got kicked off tonight.

Hello all! Well, I guess I'm hoping that I still have a job on Monday. Since I was supposed to be off this week due to the big 2 being out of town, imagine my surprise when BigSis walked into our church program today. Apparently MomBoss and her mom got into a major major fight and the girls didn't go with them to Ohio. The fight part isn't a big surprise, but my getting the week off regardless kind of is. BisSis told Kristi that since MomBoss had said I might be off she decided just to have me off. (She's also told me from the beginning that they would be on vacation in late July so I'd have a week off.) Plus, when I saw MomBoss at pick up her demeanor didn't seem to imply anything out of the ordinary, but with the weirdness of the last few weeks I guess I'm not sure what to think. MomBoss said she'd call tomorrow to catch me up on what happens so we'll see, I guess.

Nope, see earlier post. It gave Nicholas' age as 8.

I'm sorry it's getting a little rough for you. It should ease up in about, oh, 25 years, give or take..... ;)

Jen I hope the schedule for your tonsils out gets worked out.:wizard:

Amy--great pictures!

Tom, congrats on 2000 post. I hope you continue to feel better. Yeah on booking a trip.

HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY to AnneMarie and Dana

I am going to WDW. The DAY AFTER TOMORROW! I am starting to get that jittery feeling.
Elizabeth and family have a great and safe trip. Can't wait to hear about it.
