For the past couple of days, my Passat has had a dead battery in the morning. I thought yesterday that I solved the problem by replacing a module for the auxillary fan.
DD9 has been running down and checking to see if the clock was on or off, then reporting back to me.
About 10 minutes ago, I said to her- can you run down and see if the clocks on.
She comes up - bad news mom, its not on. CRAP I think...okay, well I'll start the MUDNURI and jump it with that, then figure out whats wrong now..
I run down- start up MUDNURI to the dismay of my neighbors- she's not the quietest truck in the neighborhood...have to let her idle for quite awhile as its still in the low 20's and she's a very cold blooded truck.
Move her over in front of the Passat, open the drivers door to pop the hood, and here the DING DING DING...look down and my clocks ON... I shut the door, go back into MUDNURI and park her back where she belongs, come back upstairs and say
"goo do you know where my clock is in the passat?"
she says- "yeah"
I said- really?
she starts laughing to the point where she has tears in her eyes, and says
"oh mom, I looked at the radio, not your dash......laughing.....i forgot that those germans put things in funky places....laughing.....bet you wont send me down to check again will you?....laughing.."
Shesh all I could do was laugh.
