We are going to WDW for my DD birthday in January and I am not sure which restaurant to go to on her birthday - January 18 she will be 8 year old!!

She loves Ariel and sleeping beauty so I thought the Castle, but the only princess there is Cinderella. So I looked into 1900 Park Fare again, only Cinderella.

Any other suggestions to have dinner with the princesses?

Akershus in Epcot has the princesses at breakfast, I don't know about dinner.

Yes, you can do the Princess Dinner at Akershus and see all/more of the princesses. However, I'd HIGHLY recommend Cinderella's Castle. My stepdaughter is 7 and we went in Sept. Ariel is her favorite, but, despite that CRT was one of the best parts of the vaca. for her. There is something so magical about being at the Castle, more than just the princess experience, but the magic of the castle. Plus, they make a huge deal of special celebrations there. I think this is the perfect place for an 8 yos b-day.

Also, given her interest in Ariel, just a note on Ariel's Grotto-get there super early, it has some of the worst/longest lines of anything, go as early as you can, as soon as it opens. But, it's worth it if she loves Ariel. :)

We did my DD's 9th birthday at Akershaus two weeks ago. Although she doesn't always like to admit it in front of her friends, she still likes the Princesses. At Akershaus, they start with a photo op with Belle in her ball gown (no photo pass -- they take pics that they print and sell you during the meal). The other princesses circulate during lunch. They move through the room efficiently without making anyone feel rushed, sign autograph books, and offer to take pics with whoever wants them. We had noted the birthday on our reservation, so DD got a special birthday cupcake for dessert and a card signed by all the princesses. Definitely a good birthday meal.

The other thing she expressed an interest in for her birthday was a mega-sundae. Choices in Disney are the volcano at Rainforest Cafe (Animal Kingdom or Downtown Disney), the kitchen sink at Beaches and Cream (Beach Club), or something similar at Ghiradelli at Downtown Disney. We chose Ghiradelli, but since no one else wanted to eat a huge pile of ice cream (including her 4 cousins who were also there), she just got a sundae. At some point, we'll have to break down and do it.
