We've done several sleepovers since I have 2 girls near this age.
One of their favorite things was making nightshirts. I got a couple of
packs of men's t-shirts and made iron ons on the computer - you can
get the iron on paper @
Walmart - that said "Lizzy's Sleepover 2008"
It had a tie-dye background. I put this on the front of the shirts.
I did the iron on part a week before the party - then as the girls arrived,
they painted their name and a few other little things with stamps on the
back of the shirt. We laid them out to dry and by bedtime, they were ready.
I had all the girls wear them and took tons of pictures. We did the pictures
through Walgreens with a birthday border and sent one to each girl with their
thank you note!
We also did home made glitter gel - just mix aloe vera gel and fine glitter.
Each girl made their own and put it in a plastic take out cup with a lid.
The old stand by of letting them do each other's make up and hair and perform
karoke is always good. My girls have said that they would rather have the time
to be alone with the other girls than to have constant activities planned.
