DD is sick AGAIN...

DD13 had her gall bladder removed last Tuesday. She had started to get a bit of a cold the Sunday before but the dr's office said it was OK as long as she wasn't having a fever. The surgery went well, although the dr said when he came out that he saw nothing abnormal (even tho the u/s showed there was), and she stayed home for two days and returned to school Friday. The cold seemed to have gone away but has now returned with a vengence!! She has asthma and was coughing constantly and started wheezing as well. After a trip to the primary's office yesterday, he said she has bronchitis - AGAIN. She had it in May as well. She is just soo miserable and I feel so bad for her

So sorry to hear about your DD. Maybe she can rest-up this weekend and feel better for Monday.

Your not alone...DS has been to the doctors twice since school started and has just started his second, twenty day supply of antibiotics for throat, ear and sinus infections. I don't know what's going on this year.

Sometimes I think the kids just get really run down, especially your DD with the surgery. It takes a lot to feel like yourself after something like that and it's hard to fight off colds when your already run down.
