Just thought someone here might be interested:

I was just on the line with 'Atlanta' from Disney Dining- they are expecting 1900 Park Fare to open up in the next day or so and they are taking reservations for meals in the renovated restaurant now. I was able to book dinner for Sunday Sept. 30. They are now calling dinner "Cinderelaa's Happily Ever After Dinner" and it characters include Cindy, The Step Mother and sisters and the Prince (I think)

Hope that helps!

Oh wow, maybe there's hope for me yet! I'll have to call in the AM.

Ah, that should open up plenty of ADRs since 1900 PF is larger than GF Cafe. We're dining there on Monday 9/24 at 5:00. We were expecting to be at GF Cafe, but it looks like we'll be at 1900 PF instead. My mom and DD will be happier with the buffet, I think. I ordered a birthday cake for DD. If anyone is dining at the same time and wants to try to get seated next to us we'd love to share. I had to get an 8" to get the topper I wanted and there are only three of us, we definitely don't need that much cake! :rotfl:

OH!! Meant to mention also that the Grand Floridian Cafe will go back to it's regular menu instead of the preplated dinner menu they had while 1900 was being renovated.

Can I hug you?!?! I've been trying Oct 1 and 2 and for weeks, and I just got 9/29 for 730! She confirmed it would be at the normal location and NOT GFCafe. Much later than I'd prefer, so I'll keep trying for an earlier time, but at least I got in! Thanks so much for posting this!

Thanks! I just jumped ship from Chef Mickey's. I've been trying to find another reservation but everything was booked.

You are so welcome. And.......Of course you can hug me!!! I just love hugs! Glad you were able to get what you wanted!

I am on the phone now. I tried to book last night and there was non available the entire trip but hopefully some have opened up. Thank you so much for posting this!

ETA sold out for October 11th and for the 13th. I did not ask for any other nights.

Thanks so much for the heads up on this. I just cancelled my Spoodles and got 1900 Park Fare at 6:40 on Sept. 24th.

I am freaking out right now. We have ressie for Fri. the 27th at the Grand Cafe that were made 5 months ago. We wanted to see Cinderella. I am reading this post late at night so now I have to wait until tomorrow to call to see if I can switch ressies. Do you think I will have a problem? I know it's a MNSSHP night.
All I can do now is set the alarm to call as soon as they open tomorrow to put my mind at ease.

If you made reservations for the Cafe (in its capacity as the substitute for 1900) then your reservation will just transfer back to 1900 -- I don't think you need to do anything.

I've been calling for 4 days now - no ressies available for my party of 3 at 1900 Park Fare last week of Sept!! *sigh, I'll keep calling...

Me too, nothing for October 11 or October 13. I'll keep trying though.

I got the 29th a couple days ago...keep trying!

I called at 7am this morning to talk to a CM. She told me that she didn't see where it would just switch over to Park Fare. And she was asking me if she could try another place. I told her no. That the ressies had been made 5 months ago to be with Cinderella. She put me on hold to talk to a senior CM. I was on old for what seemed like forever. But woo hoo to Disney:cheer2: , they came through and gave me a new ressie # for the Park Fare. She told me that they were calling people to let them know about the change, but since our trip is so soon, somehow we missed out on a call.

Good luck to those who are still trying to make reservations.

Do you know if there is someone out in the lobby the way that the Fairy Godmother used to hang out there?

Thanks so much.

Any word on the b-fast at 1900? Is it still Mary Poppins?

Something tell me that this dinner w/ Cindy is the new hot ticket. With the outrageous prices at CRT - I can see this taking its place.

This past July we spent $200 for b-fast at the Castle - now we can say "we did it" and that we will NEVER do it again.

I have ressie for Oct. 25th for DH's 40th bday - tried to add my DS and his DGF but the CM said they had us at a table for two and had no more space to add two more to our ressie!
Just a side question - is this a childish type buffet, or do a lot of 'grown-ups' eat there (I know, everyone's a kid at WDW, including me!). Just not sure if DH will enjoy it for his birthday (he doesn't know about it yet!) We are already eating at Boma on the 22nd while we're at AKL, but will be at SSR for the 25th, and wanted a buffet he would enjoy - thought we could grab the monorail and catch Wishes or Illuminations to top off his birthday, so that's the main reason I chose 1900 PF (plus we've never eaten there).
Someone tell me it's great and he'll enjoy it without the kids.
Thanks!:thumbsup2

1900 PF is one of my favorite buffet dinners - much tastier than Chef Mickey's. I think the food is a little more sophisticated and I had a wonderful "Year of A Million Dreams" martini - it was blue and delicious!

Your comment made me:rotfl2: . I totally understand what you are saying. I was so underwhelmed with CRT last year.
