DD is Learning To Sing

My DD (4) is learning to express herself by singing, she sings along with the Wiggles and cds that we listen to in the car. Now she is in the 3 and 4 year old choir in church, she loves to sing. She can't carry a tune, neither can I, but it makes me smile to hear the determination in her voice as she tries. Ah, to be young and have no inhibitions.

That's great . I always loved to sing, when I was a little kid and as an adult. Maybe when she gets a little older, she will be in her school plays or choir too!

Is it not the most beautiful thing? I love listening to my kids sing no matter how they sound it always makes me smile.

Yeah and they just have to dance or wiggle while they sing.

I love to hear my DD (5) sing. She tells us she wants to be a singer when she grows up. She makes up her own little songs and dance moves to go along with them.

shh. Don't tell him but I believe she gets her "Eliane" dancing from her Father. Yikes I hope she gets better with the moves....

I love it when my kids don't know the words to a song, and make up words that "sound" like the actual words!

I have caught my DD just mouthing the words. It cracks me up.
She looks at me and says "WHAT?".

I've noticed that my 2 year old niece is singing alot more. When I was pushing her on the swing, she was singing something. It was wonderful. And she always sings "Happy Birthday" for anyone or anything!
