DD informed me she has no interest in CRT so WWYD

I agree with those who say CRT is a might expensive meal for two kids who don't want to be there. Now it might be the case that they actually end up having a good time, but I would put some serious thought into it.

Also, you can always just take DD8 and the others can go with dad to ride rides.

If it were just DD10 and DD8, I would tell DD10 she had to suck it up and do something nice for her sister.

But since you have a DS, also, in the picture, I say maybe you take DD8 to CRT and let her have a special meal with just mom, and let the other children pick somewhere to go special with Dad.

If the worst thing you did as a parent were to bring your 10 year old daughter to a dinner at Cinderella's Castle, then life ain't to bad!

Book it, she'll enjoy it, and thank you for it.

:thumbsup2

Thanks again everyone. I think we will book it. We go for Christmas and do the yearly trip instead of presents. So we will be doing CRT for DD #2. DS and DD #1 will get to pick a special meal as well. I think they will all enjoy it because well how cool is eating in a castle? Now the other 2 are excited about picking their special meal.

With me as her mother I am surprised she doesn't know that already LOL I am a WDW fanatic. Have been my entire life. We still have a little bit before I have to make ADRs it just kinda shocked me that she really had zero interest. I will work on her I think she may like the menu at dinner so that might help my cause LOL.

Are you going with a partner who can take the others to another place (CP?) while you and the 8 year old enjoy the castle?...Nothing makes someone keen to do something like fond sibling stories, and the one that got away!

It's expensive, and you should enjoy it because you want to, but I must say, years back, before it was easier to get ressies, me and DD longed for it, and when we FINALLY got ressies years later, we were...underwhelmed! (We had a great time laughing though!) Still, it's a meal, and your older one won't suffer by going along....And she may suprise herself and like it.

My DD is 11 "in 12 days," and it's tough. YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT TRIP WHATEVER AND WHEREVER YOU DECIDE TO EAT!!!!!:grouphug:
