DD has gone to Grandma's.....

.......and its really strange!

My DD has gone to stay with my parents for the next week. The house seems so quiet and and I haven't had to watch Disney Cinemagic all day. There is no mess and I have been able to sit and read for most of the day without interruption.

Although it is quite relaxing I still can't wait until she is back, even though I will probably be pulling my hair out (especially if the weather does not get better) by the end of the following week.

well i am going to my grandma's house on 10th August and mum keeps saying that she cant wait till we go but i know she wont be able to wait till we get back

My DD's are going camping in a couple of weeks with their youth club and I know I will miss them terribly. The house is always quiet without them, though I am hoping to get the kitchen painted while they're away

I've gotten used to Callum going away with his dad, its very strange though not to have to chivvy him along in the mornings, and the house always seems so quiet when he's not here.
I like to use the time though to catch up with friends and go for a drink mid week which I never do when he's home

Us mums are strange things at times, we want the kids out from under our feet but when they are we want them back cause we miss then & the mess
