DD enjoyed Goofy's Sky School & Star Tours

What other rides might she like that are in the same thrill category? She likes Soarin' as well.

Will.not.ride Matterhorn. Tried that once, hated it when she was 4. Thought she might give it a try this week, but declined once she heard the screams from the riders, lol!

We're thinking of going back in January, so want to know what else she might like to ride.

This isn't really a thrill ride, but have you guys done the swings at California Adventure? That is my new favorite ride! I love the feeling of flying. I am such a whimp that I use to be too afraid to go on it, but I am so glad I tried it. It is like the outdoor version of Soarin'! (which I also love!)

I will go on Matterhorn if forced or via peer pressure, but I hate that feeling of being shaken like a bell! Too jarring and whiplashy for me.

It may not be as thrilling, but how about Gadget's Go Coaster? Even at 11 my DD still likes it.

I don't think I ever found Big Thunder scary at all, so you could try that if she's tall enough--it's more speed than drops. If she doesn't mind drops she might like Splash Mountain. (I don't like drops so it's the only ride at Disneyland proper that bothers me at all!) Goofy's Sky School is full of dips (which I don't love) so she might not mind the drop in Splash.

Space Mountain is my absolute favorite and the coaster itself is not scary at all. But the darkness terrifies many adults, never mind kids!

I second the vote for Gadget's Go-Coaster, but it's very short, so make sure you get to Toontown when it opens so you don't have to wait a long time. Also agree she might love the swings.

She might enjoy Jumpin' Jellyfish, though it's quite mild (moreso than Star Tours or Goofy's Sky School).

We saw this when we were ridding the Golden Zephyr. We didn't have time to do it. I think she's only tall enough for the tandem swing, not solo swing.

I think she would like space, but has to get over the initial fear factor. I think space will still have to wait with DD.

Will have to try Gadget's Go-coaster. I'm pretty sure she'd love Jumpin Jellyfish as there is a similar ride at Legoland that she loves.

How wet does one get on Splash? I haven't ridden it in a long time. If it's a cold day, will it be a problem?

We noticed that our legs were the part that got the most wet so we ended up putting our hoodies/coats over our legs. That helped keep us fairly dry. My 5 1/2 year old loved Splash Mountain. She also liked Space Mountain (but I don't think my 9 year old cared for that much). My 9 year old LOVES Big Thunder Mountain RR but the 5 1/2 year old doesn't like that one. Go figure.
