DD courtyard question

I have two rooms at dd Courtyard for Sept. I paid 20.03 per night upfront. Now I cant use these rooms but have a friend who wants to - the DD Courtyard says I cant even transfer these rooms to another name?? Has anyone else out there given their rooms to someone else? Did you change the names on the reservation or what?? Any help would be appreciated - I hate the thought of these rooms sitting empty and my friends paying a much higher price for their room - doesnt seem to make sense to me!!

I read about a month ago that someone else couldn't use their room and they let them "add" a name to the reservation, don't know if it worked but they said that the Courtyard did let them "add" a name.

Hope this helps and sorry you can't use the rooms, I'm also going during that time and am staying at the Courtyard.
