Just wanted to vent a little - ok, maybe more than a little. My DD is 12 going on 13 so we have to pay adult prices for Hoop Dee Doo, Buffets, etc.
I wouldn't mind if she was 14+ paying adult prices for meals but I think 11 is too young for the cutoff. Buffets double in price as does the Hoop Dee Doo.
She's 12 going on 13 so I don't think I can even pass her off as 11 (and she wouldn't want to be!). She's a picky eater and still eats far less than any adult. Chicken nuggets, pizza, etc. are still her meal of choice.
I thought WDW was for kids. I wouldn't even mind paying Jr. rates for 12-16 years old - should be some kind of ramp up. (I realize some teens can eat you out of house and home.... but that's the exception - there are adults who can do that, too.)
I also have a 15 year old so I'm feeling like every buffet we want to do is sooooo expensive. We'll still do them but wish there was some kind of break......
Just wondered if anyone else is a little miffed by this?
