Salutations, fellow DCP participants! I received the wonderful news this morning that I've been invited to partake in DCP Spring Advantage 2015. I was cast as Merchandise for the Walt Disney World Resort, though I don't yet know exactly what park/location/shop I'll be working in yet. I'll keep you posted! I do want to get the roommate search started ASAP. I am looking for some roommates who will also be interested in being friends and park buddies! I am taking the DCP very seriously, and I hope you will, too. My survey is below

Name: Sadie
Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight
Relationship Status: In love with Jesus (I'm single)
Birthday/Age: 05/05/1994, 20 years old
Current Location: Florida, USA
From: Florida, USA
School: IRSC
Major: Business Management
Are you allergic/allergies to anything?: Lactose Intolerant but I do lactates so it doesn't present much of a problem
Do you have any siblings?: 2 sisters

DCP DETAILS

Are you applying for WDW or DL? : Walt Disney World
Flying or Driving: Driving
Your Role?: Merchandise
What program are you applying for? : Spring Advantage
Do you want to live in Wellness or Non-Wellness? : Wellness!!!
How many people do you want to live with? : As many as possible? (The lower the rent, the better for us poor college students)
Which housing complex would you like to live in?: Chatham preferred, Patterson is fine, too. Just not Vista.
Alumni? : No.

LIFESTYLE

Do you party? How often? : My idea of a party is some Disney movies, some board games, and popcorn & m&ms. (I don't party, seriously. I don't.)
Do you smoke? : No
Do you drink? : No
Can you cook? : I'm not like a five star chef, by any means. I am capable of cooking, though.
Are you a night person or morning person? : A mix of both? It really depends on how messed up my sleep schedule gets.
Do you snore? : I don't know...
What does your bedroom normally look like? : I'm not messy, but I'm not clean either. It's on the cluttered side, but you can see the floor, and everything has it's place.
Do you like it when your room is hot or cold? : Cold
Would you rather go out or stay in? : I "go out" to the movies and will "go out" to the theme parks, but I'm not a partier.
What do you like to do on your days off/the weekend? : Catch up on schoolwork, sleep, and (pertaining to the DCP)... go to the parks.
Do you work out a lot? : Not as much as I would like.

PERSONALITY

Three words that describe you: Quirky, positive, nerdy
One good quality: I am a very positive and understanding person. I like working together with people and try my best to get along with everyone!
One bad quality: I get stressed out really easily.
Are you outgoing or quiet? : Outgoing most the time, quiet when it's necessary.
Do you like hanging out with people or keeping to yourself? : Hanging out, if it's with the right people. :)
What would you want in a roommate? : I did the roommate thing before, and we knew very little about each other and were like "two ships passing in the night." I don't want that again. I want a roommate that is not ONLY my roommate, but also a friend. Someone I can go to the parks with, someone I can vent to about how homesick I am, and someone I can share some inside jokes with.
What are your biggest pet peeves/dislikes? : When people don't tell me things to my face, when there is a tremendous mess in the room (some clutter is okay, but a massive explosion... not so much).
Are you messy or organized? : Cluttered but organized
How do you feel about sharing? : I'm fine with sharing. :)
Do you like having people over a lot? : For a crazy, wild party? Absolutely not. For a mature get together where we play board games, watch Disney movies and whatever... yeah, sure!
Favorite thing to do: Go to Disney.... I think this should be obvious.
Favorite Music: Christian Contemporary, Country, Pop, a little bit of KPOP
Favorite TV Shows: Doctor Who, Law & Order SVU, NCIS, My Little Pony (I'm lame, I know), Gray's Anatomy, Game of Thrones... the list goes on.

Favorite Candy: Butterfinger
Favorite Drink: Dr Pepper? And anything from Starbucks >>
Favorite Color: Purple

A little bit about me: I am a Florida girl, born and raised. I'm currently 20 years old and a student at a state college. I'm majoring in business management, but I'm hoping to transfer to a larger university and finish up my bachelors in business marketing and accounting. I want to pursue a Disney professional internship, get an advanced education (masters), and hopefully work for the corporate sector of Disney one day. This has been my dream since I was fifteen... and I'm working on making it come true.

I'm a church girl, so you won't catch me drinking, or smoking. I have a very close relationship with Jesus, which I'm not afraid to share. I am a Seventh Day Adventist, meaning I go to church on Saturday. I am used to being asked strange questions about what Seventh Day Adventist is, so ask away.

I'm a Disney nut. Have been since I was a little girl, still am, probably always will be. I can offer myself up as a "Orlando theme parks guru." I have a Disney annual pass for 2014 and I've been to the parks... at least 50 times, in this year alone. I kid you not. On top of that I have been to Universal and Islands of Adventure multiple times. I'm also a Gold Card holder for SeaWorld, which is on the equivalent of a Disney annual pass holder. I know a lot about the theme parks, so if you want to have a really GREAT theme park experience... I can lend my assistance. For Disney I know where to meet exclusive characters you don't usually see, what days the parks are most busy, where they've got good food, things to try that are off the beaten path, etc. I know there are a lot of people coming from out of state/out of country, and coming from within Florida... I think passing my knowledge of Disney off will be great.

Aside from my obvious Disney obsession, I also like scifi, fantasy, reading, writing, and having some great adventures.

I am currently working a retail job for Hallmark, so I'm very familiar with retail/cash handling. And I know a lot about ornaments and Christmas stuff... probably too much for comfort sometimes.

Anyways, looking back to getting to know some people/finding potential roommates!

What are your dates? My daughter is looking for roommates.

Congratulations for being accepted. So exciting.

There is a Facebook page of DCP spring/spring advantage kids looking for roommates. Thats probably your best place to look and put your ad up.
