DCP Qualifications for hire

I've read the website and can't determine a clear answer. I know you have to be in college to apply for the DCP, but do you have to actually be matriculated and enrolled as a part-time student, or can you just be taking a class or two (how many credits? 6?) at a near-by college?

Also... I was accepted into the DCP several years ago, paid my deposit, but then had to withdraw; my college changed their course scheduling and if I needed to take a required course during the same semester that I'd accepted for DCP or else I would have needed to go to college for an additional semester/year. I followed the proper protocols and stuff for Disney, but I am wondering if this will keep me from being accepted if I apply again.

If you're taking a for-credit class at an accredited college or university, you're eligible.
