Does anyone know how the discounts work for the DCL? If I were to go on one with my family, would I have to go while I'm on my program, or could I book it while I'm in for after my program ends and still get the discount?
If I can only go during my program (SA), would it be easy to get the time off of work to go?

Good question. My DD is doing the spring advantage 2013 DCP and we'd like to know rhis as well.

I'm almost positive that the CP discount applies to DCL. And I'm not sure if you can book it for after your program ends. I know you can do that with a hotel as long as you show your blue ID to the hotel before the end of your program. Getting time off may be tricky. You can certainly request the time off via the hub but part or all of your request may be denied. In that case you can always try to give your shifts away to your coworkers. There are facebook groups for shift exchanges for just about every area. And if you only need one extra day off you could always call in, but I would not recommend that at all.

You have to complete 90 days prior to booking your cruise.

Then you have to present an ID at Check-in to secure the CM rate.

CM discounts are available based on how well the ships are selling. Sometimes you'll see the discounts a couple months in advance making it really easy to plan for (particularly non-FL ports). Others you can book only a week or two in advance, which is too late to request the time off. So it depends on what you end up booking and how far in advance it is available.
