I was accepted this week for QSFB. I now work as an assistant manager for McDonald's in my college town. We stay busy, being close to the university, so I'm sure that will translate to Disney too. My questions are :
1. What is a typical work week for qsfb?
2. How much, on average, does a person spend per week?
3. If I'm CP at WDW, can I get in at DLR for free?
4. Can I get a magic band and use that for fp+
Any other general advice/ tips someone can give.
Thanks in advance.

I can't help with the role specific questions, but I can with admission/MDX

Yes, your main entrance pass grants you admission into the DLR, as well as DLP, SHDR, and HKDL.
The guest passes you earn will also work at Disneyland.

When you get your main entrance pass, you will be able to link it to a My Disney Experience account. This will allow you to book FP (up to 7 days in advance). Once it is linked, you will be able to purchase a MagicBand and link it to your profile. Note that you do not have to have a MagicBand to use FP+ -- the hard ticket will work just fine.

Congratulations on being accepted!

Congratulations on your acceptance.

My daughter did QSFB Fall Advantage 2015 and averaged about 35 hours a week at Pinocchio's. She often picked up extra shifts, and stayed for more hours than she was scheduled when asked, especially if she didn't have plans later on so the actual hours she ended up working were way more than she had been scheduled. She returned to QSFB to do the Alumni Program last May (stands east) and decided to stay down there full time after that.

She was pretty conservative with her money, buying groceries and packing lunches, but many or her roommates and co-workers were not. She did not have a car for her first program, but did for the second program, so she had to budget for gas too. She spent quite a bit at Cast Connection on trinkets and such that she later regretted buying, but the overall experience for her was a good one.

You can purchase a Magic Band if you'd like, but your main gate linked to your MDE account will do everything a Magic Band can do at no additional cost.
