DCL Wedding- Have questions!

We are really looking forward to a wedding in October 2010 that includes ONLY us.

Ideally, what the fantasy would be is we get up in the morning and go down to the beach. We get matching massages, after that get dressed and then go get married. From there we enjoy the day at CC, and that night we have dinner at Palo where our "official" cake cutting would take place with a cake (or souflle) cut by just the 2 of us.

Anyone tried to do this without other people with you? Any advice would be appreciated!

We did our VR on deck 7 and it was just us and our children. It was awesome and very romantic. It sounds like you should be able to make it happen!

as far as i was told when we were planning a CC wedding/VR....the ceremony is at 10am and doesn't change. it would be hard to do the massages before the ceremony if you want your hair done and stuff.....plus you would both have to be off the ship by 930am probably to make the ceremony.

if it's just the 2 of you, you could probably skip the "official" cake cutting in Palo right afterwards. the cake is included and i am positive you wouldn't get a credit back if you decided not to do the cake as we were told we couldn't even subsitite a rose wand for the full bridal bouquet.

if it's just you 2, i think you could pretty much do it however you wanted, with the exception of the time which has to be set by the ship because of customs and who would do the ceremony and their other duties.
