Are others still encountering problems when trying to make payments on the website? It keeps saying there is an error whenever I try to make a payment and I know it isn't my card. Anyone?

Between that and not having the "modify" option on my reservation, I'm getting more than a little peeved. When I call, they basically have no idea what the problem is.
 
Did you book your own reservation on the DCL website. If so you should not be having any problems, I would call the 800 number and see if they can run the payment for you. BUT if you used a travel agent you can not modify your reservation nor post a payment on your own. Your booking agent will have to do it for you. The only thing you can do once your cruise is paid regardless of who booked your reservation is book excursions, spa services, register your kids and palo etc.

I've always booked through DCL. I've never used a TA. I've always had complete control over my reservation, even when in a suite. I know I shouldn't be having problems....that's why I'm frustrated. The concierge desk says I shouldn't be having problems, the regular CM's don't know what the problem is, their supervisor doesn't know what the problem is. But I can't click on "modify" nor can I make a payment. I just don't want to have to call and wait for someone to answer every time I want to do something like make a payment or make a change, etc. Sorry.....venting.
 
If you get messages indicating that the site is not responding, etc, when working on making a payment, do yourself a favor. Do not try it multiple times.

I intended to make a $500 payment once, got the error.
Tried the $500 again, got the error again.
Tried $250 thinking it might help, got the error again.

They deducted $1250---because all three transactions went thru.

If you get the error once, call in and have them verify if it processed. If not, make the payment over the phone.

Thankfully, the money was there for them to process without incident, but I'm sure that can cause some serious problems for others.

I'm going to open a WARNING thread on this also.
