DCL Website is swamped - some parts offline

It's general availability day! I can't imagine how badly the phone lines are tangled up, but this is a first for me. I just went to the website to check my reservations and you can't get to the "My Reservations" page - it's completely overloaded and offline.

Even trying to model a new cruise, those pages are super slow. Checked the '19 EBTA - filling up fast.

I've had no problem today using the DCL website. I've been in multiple times checking cruise prices. In fact, I just went into to "My Cruise Reservations" and had no problem checking my reservations.

I called at around 8:02 and got through and was hold for close to an hour until I went online and it was slow at one point, but otherwise no problem online. Ended up just going online and paying the deposit on one of the holds I had placed on Tuesday. Prices had gone up by a few hundered on all but 2 of those I had holds on.

Have decided if we do Europe at all, it's going to be another cruise line. Just uncertain which one! It's almost overwhelming. NCL has good deals and the Jade was refurbished fairly recently, don't know anything about RCL really and Celebrity seemed fairly high but not like DCL yet also seemed really nice (too nice for kids? -Dunno). *sigh* Makes my head want to explode. If Disney wasn't so high, it would be a no-brainer and no stress....but alas....I'm only willing to pay SO much.......and this isn't it.

I had no issues booking a hold at 6:30 am. But, I did a hold because it wouldnt' take my gift cards! Got to fix this within 3 days
