Dcl Vs. Mariner Of The Seas

 Thought I'd add my 2 cents to this discussion:
I work for DCL, so I have an obvious bias! However, I've also sailed Carnival, Celebrity, Holland America, and Princess, so I have a lot to compare the Mariner to. My favorite part was the ice show--I went twice! It was better than ice skating on TV! My complaint was that the ship holds so many passengers that I couldn't find one quiet spot on the ship besides my stateroom. Everywhere I went there were crowds, and I was always waiting a long time for an elevator. I also thought the food in the main dining room was blah. (didn't make it to Chops or Portofinos)

princess snow,
I also found the ship more crowded as I said in my original trip report. I did find some quiet spots where there were hardley any people on the outer decks on 4 and 5. If you go again make sure to check out chops.
