DCL transport or private

We just decided to stay at the VWL prior to our cruise, I was first thinking of renting a car at the airport, keeping it until the cruise and dropping it off at the port, (I think Budget is the closest), Then take DCL transfers back to the airport, (we have a 11:00 am flight the day we get back), would that be the best approach to this. Or limo/towncar to the resort and same from the resort to the port and return to the airport???

JUST my point of view, but I like having my own ride!

I rented from Budget, one way. It cost me about $56.00 w/ all of the fees, taxes etc.
Then I will use their shuttle over to the port.
I then will rent one way again form Budget(Port) back to Disney.
I have about $100.00 invested, and my own car to stop when and where I want, etc.

I checked Avis, it would be 160.00 for a full size, that would cover us from the airport to Wilderness Lodge,then we leave and head to the port. I'm thinking then do DCL, which would be another 100 for the four of us, to get to the airport?

problem solved - reservation for Tiffany town car - $215.00 total. MCO to VWL, VWL to DCL, DCL to MCO, plus grocery stops! Not bad at all!
