DCL transfers - luggage question

We are arriving at MCO early the day of our cruise and have already booked DCL transfers to the port. Do we need to collect our luggage from baggage claim then take to DCL checkin area at airport or will DCL collect our bags and automatically transfer to port for us??

You will get a set of luggage tags with your cruise documents. Make sure and attach those before you get on the flight in your home city. Disney will then collect them before they even make it to the baggage carousel and take them out to the ship.

Correct. No need for you to claim your checked bags. They will automatically be delivered to the ship and you will see them when they arrive in your stateroom.

You will leave the plane and just head over to the Magical Express area of the airport for the DCL bus check in. You will then be assigned a bus and will board that bus with your carry ons.

Not if you use those luggage tags BEFORE flying from your home airport you won't. They look like this:

And that packet will arrive about 30 days before your cruise.
