DCL Reservations Glitch?

Disney is closed as of 10 pm Eastern time. I am floored because I just found out that they cancelled my reservation for January 11 with out saying a word to me. I made the reservation got an email confirmation and I see that about an hour later they sent me an email cancelling my reservation.. I found out this evening when I went to check on it. I never cancelled. We were looking forward to this cruise. It was VGT a wonderful deal which is now gone. I was hoping someone here might have an educated guess as to what happened? Why would they do that with no explanation. I have been cruising for years with them. I can't get hold of anyone there this evening.

That’s strange. You were paid in full obviously if it was VGT. Call in the morning and ask if it was a glitch, if it was, hey’ll put it back. Good luck!

Thanks Vegs1 I sent an email to them earlier. In 20 plus years of Disney Cruises this has never happened.

Yes, the agent took my payment for the VGT cruise via credit card, but for some reason she didn't apply it to the cruise. This caused the cancellation email about an hour later. I am not sure why she didn't apply the pmt. The VGT price was gone when I looked again this morning. (It was a cruise out of Galveston) Turned out fine though. I found a better VGT sailing for Jan 25. Party of 3 for about 2300 . This one leaves out of Port Canaveral. I didn't see this deal yesterday but it appeared today. So, I guess the reservations agent did us a favor with her mistake. We get to go to Casataway Cay! on edit I made SURE they applied the pmt this time!

When I first started reading your post, I was thinking it was not going to turn out OK and you lost your bargain. Glad it worked out for you. Thanks for the update because like @Snowwhyt, I was also wondering how it turned out.
