I have limited mobility and was looking for an excursion that would have very little walking. I was looking at Dunns River Falls because I was told that I didn't have to climb but the view was worth travelling to. Some comments stated there was some walking but didn't say how much. I didn't feel confident in any other excursions. I was looking for a simple bus tour. Its my first Western and I would like to see it.

Even the people that don't hike the falls still have quite a bit of walking. Sorry! It really didn't seem a very accommodating place for people with limited mobility. That was my impression at least. Maybe somebody that has limited mobility has been there and might have a different view point.

Thanks for your input. I was getting the impression there was more walking besides the climb.

There's a sort of sidewalk that runs along the falls. I haven't actually been on the sidewalk, but I have seen it in pictures. It doesn't look like you can always see the falls. Plus, it might be steep. I'm not sure how well paved it is either. I would discourage the Green Grotto Caves due to the amount of walking and slightly difficult terrain.

The Good Hope Estate tours are quite mild depending on which you chose. The longest most strenuous walk is going to be from the customs house/ship to the buses and taxis.
The Greenwood Estate tour is also limited walking. There are taxis for hire right in the port and that might be a good idea as well. It is not an excursion of course, but the drivers would be the best source of information about their home and it might make for a great do it yourself excursion. :)
