:lmao: :lmao:

BTW - I love your DD sign! Did you design that yourself?

Actually we had a person on our cruise meet thread that did all the hard work and designed it. There were a number of options and then we all use the one that got the most votes. I really like it too. Wish I had the skills to do that kind of stuff on the computer but I am lucky that I got it added to my siggy.

{question asked on post 6201 page 414 so picture is there}

im just wondering but how do you go on this cruise, as a member? do you mean a dis member on the boards or just a disney vacation club member. thanks im kinda' new. lol:rolleyes:

Disney Vacation Club members and their guests.

DVC reserved the WONDER for DVC Members for a cruise and then took over the bookings. The day reservations opened it was IMPOSSIBLE to get through. I had two phones and was chain dialing both, not even getting an automated line, only a busy signal. I finally made it to a human 20 minutes AFTER the ship was full. They did take names for a wait list so we did get a cabin several months later when someone had to cancel. We are in the picture, to the right and back. Can you see us?? We are wearing Mickey Ears:rotfl2:

It was a great cruise. We paid more points than a typical WONDER cruise but we got more treats also. There was a pin each day representing the theme of the day, etc.

If you are a member of DVC you should get a mailer telling you whenever they will be doing it again and when to call. So many are interested that they open bookings for those who have never gone before those who have gone or else we old-timers would fill the ship and new people could never get on.

It is such a popular event, I wonder that they do not do several a year.

Andrew DEREK UK, it was interesting to see that the shops were closed while crossing the canal (as they are on port days). I wonder why? You couldn't get off the ship to do any shopping there. :confused3

I assume as technically we are in Panama, and therefore subject to local tax and customs if they did open. The same as if you are in port.

I was checking out the Panama Canal navigator, it must be amazing to do that cruise and then I saw the day that it was from. YIKES! Brought back some terrible memories. We were running for our lives that day, literally.

Well, it has been exactly a week since I walked off of the Wonder. The Disney Depression continues. :sad2:

We had friends leaving on the 10/6 Magic. We went to Jetty Park to watch that beautiful ship leave. Can you tell my heart is still with the Magic? :love:
