What a wonderful picture! That screams "Christmas card" to me. :)

(I think my mom is bidding on the same cover-up on eBay RIGHT NOW for our trip in January!)

Andrew

These photos look beautiful and cannot wait to see it next year May 08, did they tell you what time? As my friend was asking about that. They booked Verdandh at Cat 6 as we will join with them to watch it. Just concern what time? as believe that it take 9 hours to Panama Canal?

Andrew - thank you for the memories of that wonderful trip!

Even though the times above started out being pretty accurate, by the time we cleared the Gatun locks it was well after 7:30. The reason I know this is we were early seating and I blew off dinner (much to DWs dismay) to stay at the bow end of deck 10 for the last lock. Somewhere in this discussion are pictures I took as we sailed away from Gatun after sunset.

Yes it is all approximate and I remember being in Lumière's looking at the lock walls moving slowly each side.

DCL pays for a 'guaranteed' time crossing that day, but it always depends on the PC traffic that day and of course trying to squeeze the Magic into each lock.

I have been on princess the other way and we started about 6.30am and were out in the Pacific at 4pm, we had an extra stop at Bilbao that night to refuel.

We named this one - Lighting the Way to Paradise

Great pic. WOW!!!!!! It's got to be one of the prettiest pics I've see in a while. I love this thread. The pictures are wonderful. Thanks for sharing everyone.

Thanks! I didn't realize how much I loved it until I got home and brought it up on my computer.

I didn't take this beautiful picture but I think that is the Atlantis Hotel so it would be Paradise Island in the Bahama's.
What a gorgeous picture you got there.
