Now that you know about the QUOTE button, go back to the post by BRACK, hit QUOTE and post your question below the accumulated typing that will show up in the window. There are little smilies to the right :goodvibes that you can add to your post by clicking on them. It is all great fun:banana: Then we can see what photo you are talking about!:yay:

That's a picture of Mikey at the helm on the Disney Magic just outside Lumieres! That is such a cool thing to do with a picture. Just don't look at it after a night of foo foo drinks!

The poster was brack. Thanks for letting me know about the "quote" button. I'm very new at this. I have been lurking for years just never posted much before. Thanks. I will try reposting the picture with the question.

I think the picture you are talking about is the statue of Mickey in the atrium on the Disney Magic. The program is Kaleidoscope Kreator.

it was fun....a nice ride from shore to the 7-mile beach - the pirates did lots of things with the little kids - swabbing deck & making them honarary pirates...then they tied up the teens hands and made them hold ice till it melted into buckets, and then poured over their heads. the water was so nice and warm - it's a fun little excursion.....

What is the agees for the pirate encounter and is it available on the 4 night wonder cruise?

I think the pirate encounter is an excursion out of Mexico?

a la 7 Day Western on the Magic

Brenda, clarification please???

We did the Pirate Encounter in Grand Cayman just this past month. I believe there was also a Pirate type excursion offered in 2005 when we did the Disney Mexican Riviera cruise...but didn't do that nor know anyone who did...i don't recall the youngest age allowed for the GC one - but judging by the kids we saw on board - the youngest was probably 4 or 5....

Dear PSU,
A few posts after this one brack tells us that he took a picture of the Mickey at the Helm statue on the Disney MAGIC and used a special computer program to make a Kaleidescope effect. It is indeed neat!!

What I see about that permits the picture to show up is
QUOTE=brack;18259231]http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/
b144/brackjr/CaptainMickey.jpg[/QUOTE
but there is an extra [ at the beginning of it all and another ] at the end to make it do the "quote" thing. I took them out so you can see what it looks like.

EDITED TO ADD: Oppse I see this was already addressed. Sorry. I did not read on, I just went hunting. But, a great picture deserves a replay I think.

I finally have photos to contribute! :cool1:

Here's an advantage to returning to the ship early on a port day. We came back from Grand Cayman around lunch time, and just walked & took photos. Almost seemed like we had the ship to ourselves.

...ok then...

In Celebration of all the fine DISer folks I met on the cruise...

I am going to start posting pictures of *them* each day for a while.

I have to change it up anyway, I'm pretty much out of new pictures to post ;)

Today's couple are both DIS members,
allow me to introduce to you,
Grimgrinnin & Minnigrl~

Today's DISer Family:

I have to say, the best about the cruise, besides everything Disney's Cruise Line has to offer, is the families I met from all over the country and the world. (We met one couple that hail from England.) I began speaking to these people here on the DIS two years before we ever set sail and enjoy talking to most of them to this day. We sailed in December 2005. Some have fallen away, RL took them back I'm sure. These people made my cruise super special and I am proud to call them all "My Friends."

This is the DOMIII Family. DOMIII is Dad's sign in name but Mom Karen posts under his name as well. Their beautiful daughter is Kayla. They are active in theatre in North Jersey and I am very blessed to have gotten to know them during our cruise to the Caribbean. :grouphug:

Here's a group from the Nov 06 Double Dip...this is our official "Silly Face" picture!
