DCL & Other Disney Ringtones I created

Got it working, and it's fabulous. Now I have my own special piece of Disney! Not sure what kind of looks I'll get on public transit when that DCL horn sounds -- it'll be an easy way to find kindred spirits!

Personally, I haven't found any kindrend spirits, only angry stares! I still don't plan on changing it, though.

I keep my phone on vibrate on the train & at work. Of course I love my ringtone, it's the ship's horn, but not everyone would agree with me and that's ok. I don't love their ringtones either, nor do I need to hear that at 7am.

What format do you need? I use it as my "you've got mail" notification on my computer. I can see what formats I have.

For those who would like to create their own - I have a program called Ringtone Media Studio, that was very inexpensive (less than $10), and I know there are others widely available. It lets me take any music file on my computer and use parts of it, or the whole thing, to do ringtones, notifications on my computer, and the like. It will let me convert the music file or clip to any format I need for whatever use I need. I found it pretty easy to use, as well. Let me just add, I am a Windows user, so I have no idea if it would work on an Apple computer.

Does anyone know how to change the alert sound for DIS board app alerts on the iphone 5? Right now it just does the standard iphone default sound, the one it does for texts. I was easily able to find where to change the text alert sound to my newly downloaded DCL chime, but where do I change the DIS alert sound? This is the most common alert I get on my phone : )

My wife is a new iPhone user, I wanted to give her a few of these ring tones. Can i just text the audio file to her like I can do on my basic flip phone, or does it have to be uploaded via iTunes?

I believe you will need to import them with iTunes.
