DCL luggage tags and other documents

Hi,
we are first time cruisers and wondering at what time DCL will ship their luggage tags and other documents you may need for them ?
We are from Germany so shipping may take a while and are leaving about 2 weeks before our cruise...
Should we call DCL and tell them to ship the documents earlier or will everything just be fine ??

They usually start putting them together about 45 days before sailing. We usually don't get our until 1-2 weeks before travel. You can request the documents early but I don't know how successful you will be in getting them early.

But the good news is that you really don't need any documents. If you check in online, you will print off almost everything you need. If you don't check in online, they will have extra forms for you at the port. You can get baggage tags either at the Disney Resort cruise desk (or if the resort doesn't have a dedicated cruise desk, the cruise employees the morning of the cruise) or from the porters at the port.
