not sure if I should post this here or on the transportation forum, but since the mojority of question is for WDW I thought here was the best place...

How does it work? If I wish to take advantage of the onboard airline check in (Jetblue) I have to use the DCL transfert.

What time do they "pick you up"?

If we decide to stay at the POR before our cruise will are luguage be transfered automatically to the stateroom as well?

If you stay at any WDW resort before your cruise and have DCL transfers your luggage will be taken from your hotel room at about 8 am and will "magically" appear outside the door to your cabin on the ship.

On the way home, you must request onboard check in, be on a participating airline, and have a flight that leaves after 11:25 am. Your bags will be taken from outside your stateroom the last night of the cruise (you will have applied the tags which they supplied and will get airline claim checks. You will next see your bags at your home airport! Your departure time will depend on your flight time. You can CHOOSE to get off any time after the big doors open, but if your flight is before a certain time you are required to be off by 8 am. All guests are supposed to be off by 9 am. Each bus leaves as it fills up.

If your flight is before 11:25, you are not able to use the luggage service and will have to take your bags from the terminal to the bus and check them in at MCO.

thank you very much :thumbsup2

it might be more expensive but having the bags magically appear and not have to worry about it makes it worth it espacially when you have kids :)

oops....looks like I was mistaken about Jet Blue...thanks for the info

When I looked into this JetBlue was not one of the airlines that offered check-in at the port. I suggest you call them before you make a decision.

Are the DCL participating airlines different that those of the resorts?

I have used Jetblue and WDW resort airline checkin for the past 2 year...

I will definately check before I sign up, thanks for the tip

Participating airlines are listed in the FAQ sticky and on DCL's website.
