DCL Galveston/PR January 2017

Wondering if anyone is doing the January 20, 2017 one way to Puerto Rico on the Wonder? And, then it leaves that evening for a 3-night to Port Canaveral? Can you do that as a back to back?

We are most likely going to do the Galveston to San Juan as we just did it earlier this month and loved it. We did hover have 3 sea days - which is why we loved it so much. You may not be able to book the cruises back-to-back because of the Passenger Vessel Services Act (PVSA) which prohibits cruise lines from doing back to back delivery of passengers that do not stop in a distant foreign port. There is an exemption for transport between mainland US and Puerto Rico, but I do not know if it goes the other way. Your best bet is to call DCL and ask. If you do - please post what you find out.

From what I heard, you cannot do a back to back with the cruise from PR to PC.

Same here - just with these antiquated maritime laws its best to get it "directly from the horses mouth"

I will tell you something funny - like i said we just did the Galveston to San Juan and encounter 2 families on the ship that did not realize the cruise was one way! One couple figured it out a week before and our Concierge told us of one family (with 4 kids) that didn't figure it out until on the cruise. Apparently they made quite a scene at Guest Services wanting to know what DISNEY was going to do about getting them back to Texas!

Not really. It was the first non-Christmas cruise of the season so we didn't really know what to expect. Pretty much got everything they do on the 7 nights even though it was only 6 - Character breakfast etc. We had a great time. It was probably our favorite of our 7 DCL cruises

And too funny about people not knowing it was a one way cruise. Lol!!!!
