Thought I'd post a poll about which DCL ship has the "best" concierge offerings.

Pretty sure for square footage devoted to Concierge the top of the list has to be WISH. Bigger is Better.

Are you going for literal facilities here or overall lounge experience? Because that changes my answer :)

I am interested in your opinions. Please share. Before I “hands down” pick the Wish because of the poll, I would like some comparisons. Thanks in advance.:worship:

Good question @Cruzin’Sisters. My answer is still the Wish. The facilities are absolutely the best. But we've found the hosts to be top of the line as well. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.....until I try concierge on the Treasure.

Facilities on the Wish (and presumably the sister ships) are hard to beat. The Wish offers all the perks of the previous classes of ship including hot tubs, but a much expanded outdoor space that actually has an ocean view, a full bar area, and the ability to do a special concierge hot food menu in addition to the snacks.

However, for me, I think the Magic gives the Wish a run for its money in terms of overall experience. The lounge is much smaller and lacks some of the amenities of the Wish lounge, but then again, we never make it to the hot tub on ships that have one and I'm just as happy getting Cabanas for hot food. The recent renovation of the Magic lounge is gorgeous, and I think what you lose in amenities you gain in intimate feel. There are fewer hosts (three vs five) so you are much more likely to see the same people and they're more likely to have time to chat with you. This is something I value, but I know that it's not something everyone cares about or prioritizes.

So, IMHO, if you want the most luxurious lounge experience, pick the Wish. If you want the most personalized host experience, pick the Magic. Really you can't go wrong either way though -- have an amazing time whatever you choose!

Which, according to a lot of the concierge staff in May, will be the same staff that is on the Wish. Many of them are making the move from the Wish to the Treasure, as are a lot of the dining room servers who handle the tables that are generally concierge.

The Wish Lounge is bigger and BEAUTIFUL but honestly, we felt it was crowded and less intimate than the Fantasy. We left feeling it was an upscale version of an airport lounge. Sorry for the un-popular opinion.... hahaha

r.e. bold -- As a saying goes ... *whatever floats your boat* :teeth:

We felt the Dream Lounge was great and then when we experienced the lounges on other lines we had our own WDW vs. DL Size Syndrome. The Dream lounge was like a closet as apposed to the larger lounges with views of the water, space to move around in, far more offerings and on the Line we now sail 20 Hour Full Bar Services there, on the Top Deck and throughout the Ship.

I agree with you… I preferred the more intimate feel of the other lounges, though it’s hard to argue with the great view from the Wish lounge.
