DCL castaway cay-use personal snorkel vest?

at DCL castaway cay-can I use my personal snorkel vest (bringing to use in the Caymans)? If not, is there a charge to rent just a vest or as they free if we have our own snorkel equipt?

The snorkel vest is free if you have your own snorkel equipment.

IME yes you can use your own .. they just require you use one . . they provide for no charge

We were just there and it appeared the color of the vest allowed them to determine if a guest is snorkeling versus drowning face down in the water. They really get after anyone using a mask without a vest.

This is a good idea. They’ve recently changed their vest and I am not a fan. We didn’t mind them in December and March but in May and sept they were not the same multiple guest were commenting on it during our May cruise
