DCL Buses and WDW Resorts

I'm surprising my family by booking us at WDW for 3 nights before our 7 night DCL in Nov. I asked my TA and called DCL and they both told me that the only WDW hotels that the DCL buses pick up passengers at are the ones that are listed in the brochure for the land/sea vacations. They both told me that even though I'm going on the 7 night cruise and not a land/sea, those are the only ones DCL buses pick up from. So, I booked POFQ. I've recently seen 2 posts about people being picked up at WL and Barb and Tony's web site says the buses pick up at the the WL and the Contemporary. I'd rather book one of those. Can someone give me the "real" info or give me a phone # to call. I'd rather not use a limo ( had a bad experience once). Thanks!

I just posted a similar question before I saw yours. We are in the same situation. We are booked at CSR and are now looking to change doe to the pickup issue. We aren't sure what to do or where to stay now.

I just posted on the other one.

Basically, take a bus over to one of the other resorts or AK. I know this is a hassle, but it would probably work.

Also, depending on how many are going, check out a private car service from the resort to the port. It is so much more convenient-no lines and they will pick you up much earlier (the bus won't pick up until after noon).

Disney arranged for the bell service people to take us in their van to the nearest hotel serviced by the DCL bus. According to the vacation club rep, they do this on a regular basis.
