DCL Bus back to WDW

After the cruise we will be going to be staying at GF for 4 nights. We are taking DCL buses. Our cruise docs state we will have to go back to the airport. Can't we just go from the port to the GF?? I have spoken to my TA about this and am still didn't get a very good answer. I have read on here Mears is at the port after the cruise and goes back to WDW. I see on the cruise docs there is a space to fill in if we will be continuing our vacation and at which hotel. Will this tell them we need to go to the hotel instead of the airport. I know we can get a Mears bus to take us from the airport to the GF, but I want to get there the quickest adn simplest way we can.

Just go to guest services any time during the cruise and tell them you want to take a bus to Disney. They will sell you a one-way ticket and put a sticker on your key to the world card. Then when you get your luggage tell the porter you need a bus back to the resort and they will take you right to them.

Did u purchase round trip to the airport ?

just have them change it from airport to the resort bus no problem at guest services. we purchase the resort bus while on the cruise ..... no problem

The bus leaves right from the port to the various resorts...no airport stop. Check with Guest services on the ship, and they'll be sure you're ticketed/routed correctly.

You do still have to pick up your luggage, and the porter will take it thru customs for you. Then he'll take it right over to the WDW busses. They may load your luggage onto a truck rather than the same bus you are on...don't worry, it will go to your resort!

Just curious (since technically we COULD add a night at a resort after our cruise also) how much it costs per person for just the trip from port to resort? We'd be using limo services rather than DCL transfers for the rest of the trip transportation.
