DCL Bounceback Offer; Good Value?

I'll look into Costco. We are long time Sams Club members, but Costco is just as close. Is Chase listed as my travel agent since I used Chase points to book the cruise? I reserved the Placeholder but marked down that we did not use a TA. Chase did nothing except pay for the cruise, and then we did everything else on the DCL website.
The agency chase contracts with was your ta. If you look at your confirmation email, the agency name will be buried in there somewhere.

As to whether Disney has them listed on your placeholder, you'll have to ask disney.

You have 30 days from date placeholder is booked to transfer

We booked a bounce back offer after our first 7-night cruise in Feb. 2009...it was for a 3 night bahamas cruise for $99/person (and yes, we booked it!). Man I miss those days lol!

December 2009
3 night Wonder
2 Adults 2 kids
Stateroom 8100
$400 total, upgrade at the port additional $200 approx.
Special bounce back offer! Never see that again!

Sorry to dig up this old thread and hijack it for my question... but it is pretty much in a similar vain...

I want to surprise my partner with making our October 2021 WDW vacation for the 50th even more magical by making it a land and sea thing. We are sailing on the Magic this December and I figured that creating a placeholder would be the best course of action if I know I want to do this.

However... Disney probably wont have itineraries, ships and sailing dates for October of 2021 out by this December, will they? So, what if I know I want to sail in October 2021 but they don't have this info (yet it is still within the 24 month must-sail-by period)? Do they just put us on the list with an undetermined sail date placeholder? Or can they make note of when we are planning to make the sailing happen??

I know we'd like to do the Fantasy or Dream (will the new ships be online by then??) as my partner is very excited about the AquaDuck and I don't think the Dunk on the Magic will be quite as satisfying of a ride as the Duck is (from my 2018 Fantasy experience). The cruise will most likely also be Halloween on the High Seas at that time, correct? I'm not sure we could do a whole 7-night blowout though... what exactly of the placeholder needs to be a 7-night trip for? For the $200 on-board credit was it??

Any thoughts, tips or ideas you cruise experts out there could send my way would be awesome as well!!

If itineraries for your preferred time to sail have not been released yet, than you book a "placeholder" for $250. Essentially, it is a basic reservation without a specific date. Once you know the date, you call to get the placeholder moved to that sailing and the $250 is deducted from any deposit due. You'll get the 10% discount off the fare, a reduced deposit amount if sailing 7+ nights, and an OBC of $200 for 7+ nights or $100 for less than 7 nights. The placeholder is not specific to any time period other than within 24 months, not specific to any ship or itinerary. There may be black-out dates when a placeholder cannot be used - typically around holidays, and I suspect maiden voyages as well.

Enjoy your cruise!
