dcl beach bag

Do they sell dcl beach bags on the ship? If so, how big are they and how much? Also, do children need snorkle vests to snorkle off the beaches in st. T. and St. M?

We cruised in March and I bought a great beach bag. It is blue and white striped canvas with a tied rope handle and the DCL logo. It has a zipper top and is very heavy duty. I think I paid $36 for it. There are some other, less expensive bags for sale as well.

I think the only place a snorkel vest is required by DCL is on Castaway Cay. Are your children good swimmers? What beaches are you planning on visiting? Maybe someone who has been to one of those beaches can give you some information on what is required there.

What we did was to go to the Shopping seminar and buy the coupon book for 20 dollars. It had bunch of coupons for free stuff on St. Thomas and St. Marteen. One of them was a free beach bag from Del-Sol on St. Marteen. It was absolutely free, no strings attached. We went into the store and show them the coupon and they gave us the bag without any hassle.

DW bought the same one mickeyboat did and paid the same if I remember correctly. She still uses it for when we go to the beach here.

This is probably a weird question, but does anyone have a picture of the DCL beach bag that is mentioned above?

It sounds exactly what I am looking for and have a friend traveling on DCL in May, I would like to ask her to pick me up one.
