No specific Alaska board. Just the general cruise board.

I think there are a few recent and helpful Trip Reports (TR) so start on that tab! People here are so helpful with posting photos and day by day records of their trips!

Was going to have a look in the TR area to see if there were some - many thanks.

May I suggest that you join the Facebook group "Disney Cruise Line -Alaska Q&A"? I think it will have the specific focus on Alaska that you're looking for. Tons of detail and wonderful information!

We went this past July and had one of our best vacations ever. I wish you the same!

Now, if I could only find a similar FB group on the British Isles cruise!

Agreed. We just got off the Wonder 10 days ago  . It was amazing. Can't recommend an Alaska cruise enough. That FB group is full of great information. Don't hesitate to ask questions here either.

Definitely! As others have said, it's a great wealth of information and everyone is so great at sharing and being helpful! Between reading trip reports here, and the FB page, we were more than prepared for our trip and I'm an uber planner! It's good to post here too, because even though a lot of the information stays the same, it definitely changes some from season to season too. Happy planning! :flower3:

Yes, we were. We're suffering from some serious withdrawal. We went into it thinking we would cross Alaska off our list and it would be a one-time thing, but we'll definitely go back. Being from the east coast (NYC), it's a lot of traveling and logistics (we flew to Seattle, train to Vancouver, hotel nights in each city, transfers to and from each point, etc) so it won't be right away. However, in the 5-6 year range I can definitely see us going back. Although, that may be a mistake. I don't see how our cruise can be topped. We won't get better weather in Ketchikan, that's for sure!

Haha, I know, every shop we went into in Ketchikan, all the staff were like 'you brought the sun with you!!!!" they were so excited to see it. That was a spectacular day and I'm so glad it didn't rain, our most 'adventurous' excursion was there and it would not have been pleasant in the rain.

We are lucky to live here in the Vancouver area so unlike our caribbean cruises, we did not have to add airfare on top. We are hoping to return in a few years when our kids are a bit older so we can do some more 'active' excursions like ziplining, etc.
