For anyone who's curious about the progress of the rebuilding of DCA or just monthly pictures of
Disneyland, over at
DisneyGeek, he takes tons of pictures every two weeks and also has a section with a lot more pictures of the construction progress.
The pictures of the lagoon are amazing to see how HUGE the stage is for World of Color. They're saying it's the largest show Disney has ever done. They're recreating the animation technique of multiple planes for filming. There will be 50 feet high, 380 feet wide water screens, multiple ones in front of one another, recreating scenes from animated films. 200 foot high Bellagio type fountains and even fire whips that can change to any color as well.
This thing is going to be crazy.
