DCA Parades

Does anyone know what is going on at DCA in regards to parades?

Not much really, there is too much construction. However there are a number of smaller shows. The Pixar Pals, Disney Channel Rocks and the Disney Dance Crew. The Pixar Pals is kinda of like a parade with little I guess training sessions you would say along the way.

the path by the condor flat sign is too narrow for any parade floats to pass through. So they put the parade on hold for now.

OK yeah this is what I though. I thought I heard that the parade was on hold right now due to the construction. It only makes sense. However I did hear they did hear that characters on floats are around certain areas doing little shows. I maybe wrong but I have it in my head like the High School Musical type deal.

That would be a good way to desribe it. There is also a Camp Rock that took over for HSM. The other shows don't use the stage like HSM and CR do.

Camp Rock thingy only last in the morning though, so plan ahead. I think last show is at like 2ish?

I wouldnt be too shocked if they did. There is a lot of construction going on. I think that is one reason they are holding TRON or last year Glow Fest. It brings in people to see other shows while the construction is going on, so they dont feel like they are missing something. I know there was to be a new parade route, but they just started or are about to start the 2nd phase of construction. So much more to come, and much has to do with the new Bunea Vista street (Just inside the Main Entrance Plaza area). Combine that with all that is going on with the rest of the park... Its a tough call. But it would be nice definitely! Disney is magical maybe they will find a way to pull something off.

they might because hopefull by then Ariel wil be completed, it is slated to ne done this year in the spring or something.so those construction wallswill be gone and hence more room for pixar play parade!! im jut assuming, and taking a guess

i have only seen it once, and it's at paradise peir where they do WOC.. the show was ok..but for someone in the right age bracket of kids and tweens i am sure they think it was awesome!

That's right - my DD who is 16 thought the show too 'young' for her - and she is someone who has seen Jonas Bros (twice) and still watches Disney Channel all the time.
