Went this weekend on a last minute trip, and was THRILLED with how empty DL was on Sunday! After lunch at Blue Bayou with the restaurant HALF EMPTY!!!, we went to DCA around 2 pm. It was a madhouse! All FP for Soarin' gone, with an 80 minute standby! FP for Aladdin were gone (no shock there), and they recommended lining up 90 minutes in advance to see that, also.

When we left DL after lunch, Indy had a 20 minute standby if you can believe it! We love DCA, so we were happy to see it so full, but really surprised that it would be that much more crowded than DL.

BTW---I know there was a cheerleaders convention this weekend, but we mostly saw them at DL on Sunday, and they were very well-mannered and not overly loud!

My daughter and I park hopped over to DCA around 3 p.m. Could not believe the crowd. I have never seen it that crowded there! It was like a busy weekend at DL.

I agree! It was great to see the park busy. I went over about 11:00am and got tickets to Aladdin. The 12:30 tickets were gone, but I got to pick up tickets for the remaining shows.

The flying carpet didn't work Saturday or Sunday, but they were still excellent performances. Even the parade route was crowded 30 minutes before the parade started.

Let's hope this keeps up

LOL we were also there on Sunday 9th and yeah I thought the crowds were OK but hten as I've never been before I had nothing to compare it with. Anyway we didn't have any long waits for stuff we wanted to do and we went back to the hotel for a nap and to Downtown Disney before returning and wathcing the Electrical Parade and got a great seat about 45 minutes before I must admit.

We didn't do Soarin' as even O'Canada in Epcot makes me hurl and you don't move in that ;)

We had no wait for Bugs Life

Got fastpass for Screamin - absoloutely awesome

Went to 2.30 performance for Aladdin - now that was really busy the standby line was very long but luckily we had preferred seating with our DisneyPackage.

But I guess anything we didn't do or have time to do we knew we had an extra day on the Tuesday to go back and do things we couldn't do.

We had a good time anyways - Guess we'd have an even better time if the crowds were less.
