They original said that Muppets would return at some point, but they've stopped saying that on the Parks Blog. At this point, it looks like the Frozen Sing-Along will be here indefinitely (at least as long as Frozen remains popular). I would assume it'll be here at least through the summer and most likely beyond that.

That's exactly why I asked- it sounded like the Frozen palooza was only until the 22nd and there was hope the Muppets would come back. But like you, I hadn't heard any indication of that. Since I'm not very plugged in I was hoping I'd missed something.
For those that like Muppets, we can all hope that the new TV series proves to be very popular. Then there is a chance that Muppets might return (in some form). Otherwise, I guess DHS is the only option at this point!
I'm not saying the Muppets are more popular than ever, but this "Frozen takes over" thing concerns me a little. It reminds me of the Universal model, which seems to be "let's replace a classic with something that's really really hot right now" (see replacing Back to the Future with The Simpsons)
I would say that concern is probably more apt for Epcot's Norway pavilion than DLR at this point. Disneyland added a lot of stuff for Frozen recently, but most of it is either more transient in nature (e.g., Frozen play at Fantasy Faire and the meet and greets) or an addition to an existing attraction (e.g., Arandelle in Storybook Canals). The change over of Muppets theater was probably the "permanent" change, but given that they'd been shuttering Muppets for extended movie previews not infrequently, I'm not too surprised that they are going with something "popular" at this point. While I do hope Muppets return to DLR (in some form) in the future, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes quite a while.
