DCA Friday 5/15 or Sunday 5/17?

We are planning to do one day at Disneyland and one day at DCA. Saturday 5/16 we plan on chilling at our hotel (Howard Johnson). I was originally thinking of DCA on Friday for the last day of Frozen Fun but then I realized that it's also the last weekend for Southern CA residents to get the special ticket deal.

Should we do DCA on Friday and Disneyland on Sunday?
1. We could catch the last day of Frozen Fun. My daughter is almost 8 and though she was once obsessed with the movie, I don't think she would miss it too much. Honestly, my 4 year old son would probably be more excited about it. Will it be crazy crowded with all the Frozen fanatics?

2. There's a grad night at DCA Friday night although we will leave before it gets dark.

Any thoughts? Anything I'm missing? My daughter has been to Disneyland once and that was 3 years ago. We've never been to DCA.

Also, thoughts on bringing a stand and sit double stroller? We don't use it anymore but maybe it'll come in handy with all the walking, especially at the end of the day from the park to Howard Johnsons.

The "end of Frozen Fun" is a little bit of a misnomer. Olaf's Snow Fest and Freeze the Night already ended. Olaf continues to meet guests ouside of Stage 17. The A&E Meet & Greet and the Sing Along are continuing indefinitely in DCA. Likewise, Frozen at Fantasy Faire and the Arandelle addition to Storybook canal in DL are also remaining. So aside from perhaps some signage, there really isn't a lot that will be different between 5/15 and 5/16 in terms of Frozen's presence.

There might be more teenagers in the parks in the afternoon due to grad nite, but I don't think they make a huge difference. If you were planning on focusing on the thrill rides, then it might make a small impact, but overall, I don't think it's huge.

The thing that might impact the parks more is the taping of Live with Kelly and Michael. It's slated to happen in Disneyland on Sunday. There will be some impacts for sure on Main Street and the castle area, depending on where they decide to film from. So, I would probably opt to avoid DL on Sunday.

The only drawback to DCA on Sunday is that it has it's EMH that morning. So if you're staying off-site, there will already be a line for TSMM and RSR, and the Frozen stuff will already be distributing tickets (I think) by the time you are allowed into the park.

It really depends on your children and how much they are used to walking. I would probably bring the stroller for the 4 year old, but not as sure about the almost 8 year old.
