DCA entrance

Our late June trip is appproaching, and I'm wondering where the entrance is for DCA...same spot it was in? Or have they moved it with the changes they will be making to the entrance? And will it be in the same spot in late June? This website is a wealth of information!
By the way, I am still in slight mourning for the C A L I F O R N I A letters!

It's in the same spot, it probably always will be. But how you go through it is odd. Currently you go around a wall that cirles where the letters were, new entrance is being built.

I'm in mourning for the CALIFORNIA too but the current entrance is pretty well-marked.

i remember reading a while back that eventually they will have to close the current entrance to finish up remodeling it, and the entrance will be re-routed to where Soarin is located?
Does anyone have info on this? If/when this might happen?

oh no... the california letters are gone?! I was SO looking forward to seeing them on our first trip in July! how sad

The update on this rumor that had said an alternative entrance would be used(some said into the Hollywood Backlot others into Condor Flats), is a little different now.

Later I heard you would go in through the main entrance, make a hard right back stage between Soarin and the wall that borders the Esplanade and go down into Condor Flats next to the Minnie meet and greet. A couple weeks after I first heard this, I saw it repeated in an article on Mice Age.

However I have also heard, that again,just rumor, that you will enter normally and go strait into the park as we do now, but they will wall up half the street, remodel it, then switch to the other half.

So take your pick from these four options.
