We will use our EMH for DCA on Sunday, August 26 (so close! eeek!:cool1:). I decided that our best plan of action may be to use it to knock out the rides that build long lines and don't have FP, and just grab RSR FPs right at park open. We don't mind not riding it more than once.

What can I reasonably expect to get done in that first hour? I think I want to start at either Luigi's (I couldn't care less about the ride, but DD saw it on a Disney Channel commercial and can't stop talking about it) or TSMM. Other than those two, what could I get done in that first hour if I skip RSR and Mater's (it seems to have a 20-30 min line all day, so we will just do that when we return for our RSR FP time)? Should we start at Luigi's or TSMM?

Any info from someone who has been recently or simply understands the logistics better than I is greatly appreciated!!

If you start at Luigi's, you should be able to also get in at least 2 rides on Toy Story AND a ride on Mater's before lining up for RSR FP.

If you start at Toy Story, by the time you get back to Luigi's, there will probably be a line.

Toy Story's line has been growing much slower than the lines for the 3 Cars Land rides...you can even go down to Toy Story anytime during that first hour and still wait less than 20 min.

For our APEE we went straigt to LFT and walked on. Then we went over to TSMM and rode it twice in a row without getting off. Then it was about 7:40 and we got in line for RSR. If you line up for it before rope drop, the end of the line for EE and EMH guests is in front of the first person waiting in the FP line that was allowed in at 7:30 for rope drop. After we had our FPs around 8:15, we went on a bunch of other rides that were almost walk on because most of the guests were still waiting in the FP line.

We just came back. Our ride order was: DH and kids did Luigi's, Mater, then Toy Story Midway Mania and a few other rides in the Paradise Pier area (the kids aren't into coasters, so no Screaming for them), while I stood in line for RSR FPs, then got Star Tours FPs at DL, then back to CA for World of Color FPs. We met up at Soaring around 8:30am, which only had a 10 min wait at the time. Worked for us!

Have fun!!!

That is a long time for FP but I guess it beats waiting standby in line for 3 hours.
